FORMAT

If you lose your match, you will be eliminated from the tournament.

If the battle starts without any launching errors, premature launches, or delayed launches, points are awarded to players based on the following finishing moves.

The first to earn 4 points wins the match.

Extreme Finish = 3 points earnedThis occurs when the player’s Bey knocks its opponent’s Bey completely into the Xtreme zone and the opponent’s Bey cannot return to the battle zone.

Knock Out Finish = 2 points earnedThis occurs when the player’s Bey knocks its opponent’s Bey completely into the knockout zone and the opponent’s Bey cannot return to the battle zone.

Burst Finish = 2 points earnedThis occurs when parts of the opponent's Bey (such as the blade, ratchet, or bit) detach and separate before the player’s Bey.

Survivor Finish = 1 point earnedThis occurs when the spinning speed of the opponent's Bey in its original rotating direction becomes zero (ie. completely stops spinning) in the battle zone before the player’s Bey.

How the Scoring will work:

  • Each Playing Mat will have a Flip Score Card.

  • Each Judge will have a clipboard where they record the score.

  • After each battle the judge awards the score, the player & judge agree the score. The player flips over the card to track their score on the Flip Card. The judge checks the Flip Card matches their spreadsheet.
